And this is it, the Flying Dutchman.

In the press he the watch was hailed as ‘a victory for self-will’, and ‘the unthinkable’.

The watch combines seemingly contrary values. Elegant and robust at the same time. Classical yet modern. Distinctive but functional.

The proportions of this watch are traditional, but distinct at the same time.

This subtle variant of the Flying Dutchman has a date window and a central second and a minimalist style.

The dial is very legible but still feels understated thanks to the very clever use of the lines typical of a sector dial.

The Breguet-shaped hands are generously painted with Super-LumiNova which lights up brightly in the dark.

Swiss movement

Watch enthousiasts will immediately recognize this movement as one of the most reliable and robust automatic movements from Switzerland.

It is also a very accurate movement, which is why it has been used for decades by even the most famous brands.

Still, standard is nog good enough for Hubert, so some finishing and regulation of the movement is done by Pellikaan timing.
